2012 FARMER'S MARKETS

We are really looking forward to this Farmer's Market season. More and more people are coming out and supporting local farmers and artisans. The Broadway market started in April and is already super busy. Columbia City started up earlier this month on a gorgeous, sunny afternoon, and before too long we'll be up on Queen Anne too. See you at the market!
Columbia City: Wednesdays, May 2 to October17 - 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Broadway: Sundays, April 22 to December 23 - 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Queen Anne: Thursdays, June 7 to October 11 - 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm

« CARING FOR YOUR BREAD »

Storage

In a perfect world bread would be enjoyed the same day it is baked, but since that can’t always be the case we recommend storing leftovers in a paper bag, at room temperature. The crust will stay firm and the inside soft. After two days you may wrap it in plastic to maintain freshness for another day or so, but the crust will soften and require refreshing.

Refreshing

Sprinkle or mist your loaf lightly with water and place in a preheated 400F oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until crusty to taste. Do not wrap in foil. Slices are also great toasted. Refrigerating or microwaving bread are not recommended.

Freezing

Our bread freezes well when wrapped tightly. To refresh, defrost the loaf at room temperature and follow the above instructions.
